  • Inability to Tackle Fierce Competition

  • Manufacturing has become quite competitive in the last few years and that's why many manufacturers have listings with insignificant sales for many of their products. This client was not an exception, and many listings were not getting enough sales. However, similar products listed by competitors on their e-commerce stores were performing quite well.

  • Incomplete Product Data

  • So many products were in the listings, but most were underperforming due to scanty data and incomplete product information. Lack of product information prevented prospective buyers from making well-informed buying decisions and ultimately sales suffered. Not being able to garner good sales was a concerning thing as it has stagnated the growth of the business.

  • Substandard Product Content

  • This was the biggest mistake our client was making; he was relying on his sales team for product descriptions without having any copywriters on the team. Though, the team understood the products well, creating customer-friendly product content was, of course, not their forte. The absence of impressive content prevented their products from achieving good search engine visibility.
